Engineered Cement Composites : Bendable concrete: “
Victor Li, at the University of Michigan has developed a new fiber-reinforced bendable concrete. Li claims his Engineered Cement Composites (pdf) are superior to other fiber-reinforced concretes because his composite not only uses microscale fiber reinforcements, but they have also designed the ingredients to the concrete itself to provide more flexibility. The 40% lighter ECC is also 500 times more resistant to cracking, 37% less expensive, consumes 40% less energy, and produces 39% less carbon dioxide than regular concrete.

i think programming on the fly is awesome.
i’ve run into situations exactly as you have described and found myself adding effects to patches as i performed. there’s nothing like it. and if you can do it quickly and have automated parameters so there’s no percievable dead time then go for it.
as for fscript i played around with it a little bit, but i didn’t get deep enough into it. i did manage to change the settings of some of the settings pane items in midi nodes on the fly which was pretty awesome… my idea was to have a script to automatically set up a midi configuration, but i wasn’t using my midi setup often enough to justify the time needed to do this.
and as with all of these requests file a bug report if you want the people that make the decisions to hear what you are saying.
